CHESS RULES AUSTRALIA is dedicated to teaching chess at an elite level to the children of Australia. Classes are conducted in 10-15 minute structured lectures followed by the children pairing off and playing the game. Prizes and trophies are awarded at the end of each school term for tournament play-offs plus excellence in strategy and problem solving. There are also rewards for those children who display consistent achievement during each school term.

An introduction to the pieces and how they move. There are many games that individually demonstrate the powers and movement of all the pieces such as; Snowballs, Take me, Fox & Hound and Transfer chess. The object of these quick and simple games is to show children how the pieces move and how to use them to there best advantage.
There are many such games and all are loved by the children (adults too) . We will also introduce students to other games derived from chess such SHOGI or Japanese chess. In doing so we will demonstrate the international influence chess has had on cultures around the world.
Children will be introduced to computer chess and encouraged to compete with other players around the world to improve their game and connect them to the worldwide chess playing community.
INTERNATIONAL FUN!
